What have we been up to?

I know its been forever...almost a whole semester to be exact. This semester hasn't been nearly as bad as others but I have had to write a MILLION and one papers. So I haven't really felt like getting on here to type some more. If no one is opposed I suppose I could just post them on here :-).

I have officially applied for my last semester of school!! It was very exciting. And pending no mix-ups with BYU-I and BSU I should graduate in May :-). I've had to apply for graduation from BYU-I because BSU isn't accepting all my credits into the proper areas so they are trying to make me retake millions of classes I already paid for and passed! Hopefully I will get my pretty diploma from BYUI in may and then the next semester should be smooth sailin'. Did I mention I AM SO EXCITED FOR MAY?!?! Actually more like June because that is when the NCLEX will be done, oh June will be a happy, happy month.

As for Shane his GRE scores came back and it's off to applying for Master's programs. He will graduate with his Bachelors in Biology in May but then will hopefully be back in school starting his Master's Degree in the fall. He really wants to get into a program that deals with genetics and animal research but the are pretty sparse so we will see what options come our way in the next few months. Other than that he is working and praying for snow!! We can't wait for Bogus to open.

We have had some fun this semester....
Logan and Heather came and watched BSU game with us

This was the best game, with the worst ending. After that horrifying kick we thought we had won, then TCU rushed the field and after a moment of confusion everyone understood sat back down and for five minutes the stands were silent....sad sad day.

And yesterday after much hoping and praying Bogus got a whoppin 3.5 inches. So what did we do?

 Shane's wheelie

We went to play in it....All 4 inches :-)

And last but not least....
Dexter had puppies!! :-) Not him directly but his poor lady friend had all 6 but they are doing great and I can't wait to meet them.

Now it's Thanksgiving Break and we've got big plans for our Holidays this year. Happy Holidays everyone!

You just make me smile!

My job really is amazing! I love working with the kids, they are so funny and so honest. Today I got a phone call from our unit clerk, she said, "umm Krystal you have a 'little' visitor" I knew just who it was. So I hurried up to the front to be welcomed by a big smile and a bigger hug from a girl I had taken care of a couple weeks back! She is the sweetest thing and I love seeing her.

Part of my job is to go around every 4 hours and take the kids vitals (temperature, heart rate, blood pressure, etc.) As I walked into one particular room and took an oral temp on this 3 year old girl, she looks at me and says "I know why you do that." Surprised, I said "Oh ya what's that." She smirked, "you want to see how much my tongue weighs!!" I couldn't suppress a little smile. Those kids are just so smart!

Out with a BOOM!!

Knowing school was creeping in we decided to pack it full of fun!! Thanks for everyone who joined us. Night one we went out to dinner with Cassie and Ehud at Famous Daves...MMmm My favorite! Then we came back to the house where Cassie and I demolished the boys at sequence. Sorry no picture.

Day Two- Shane and Stephen spent the evening playing Basketball at the Church and Xbox back at the house. I had a "rearreanged" softball game and then rushed out to meet friends at the rodeo!! Oh man  its been to long since I've been to the rodeo. It was so fun! Corn dogs, nachoes, soda and for Chrissy cute cowboys! Thanks Kate, Chrissy and Chels for the great time:-)
That my friends is a SUPER nacho
Best part of rodeos....clowns!
 Good ole' Cowboys!
 Country shirts!
Due to my tardiness. I arrived in still. Complete with softball uniform (black shirt and shorts, which were dirty and sweaty from playing) covered up by my cowboy shirt, stylish sunglasses and my purse. As I was waiting at the front gates for Chrissy to bring me my ticket a couple of high schoolers were staring at me thinking. Oh my gosh what is she wearing....yup I'm that cool :-)

Day three. One of my personal favorite traditions is back to school shopping. All the girls that can make it in the family meet at Target in Twin Falls 0900! Then we shop and eat til we drop. It's so much fun to shop with everyone. Never a dull moment.
While we were all trying on our outfits in one dressing room (yup all 7 of us). I had to buy a new bra, yes Grandma I am telling this story, before I tried it on Grandma picked it up. After looking it over for a bit she turns to me and says, "Krystal this is false packaging!!" Oh I laughed so hard. Watch out for Grandma she'll keep you on your toes.

Day 4 we worked all day and drove what felt like all night!!

Day 5 Boating!! It was a Bruce a'paloza hometown style. We haven't had the chance to boat all summer, which Shane and I were super sad about because growing up it was one of our favorite past times. Bruce took us all to town out on the river.
Shane, Baylee, Mom, Peyton, Krystal
 Karli and Peyton

I can still vividly remember this wreck! Hilarious, I can't believe how far and fast we skidded across the water!
 Lookin good Bruce!

Thanks Bruce and Connie!! We had so much fun, can't wait for next year :-)

Day 6 was full of parties! In the afternoon a bunch of my friends from High School all got together for a BBQ. It's so much fun to catch up and see everyone again.

Party #2 was my nephew's birthday party! It was so much fun to be a part of his 3rd birthday he's such a awesome kid!
Mmm. Cupcakes!!
I know Shane's eye's are closed but the other one is super fuzzy...
Lookin sweeet, sporting the blue and orange!

 Karli and Paige did...

Day 8: Not only was it back to school but it was also our 3rd wedding anniversary. I can't believe it's already been 3 years. It's been so amazing being married to Shane. He really is the best for me. We went out for dinner that night but exhausted from our previous week, we came home and cuddled on the couch with a movie. Can't get much better then that!!
